If you send me a link in a PM, I'll look into and see what the problem is. =)

- Go to start - type "Turn Windows feature on or off" - expand/open "Media Features" From you there, you should be able to tick or untick a box for Windows Media Player 12. Unticking it should trick Windows into uninstalling it which after you'd restart, go back to "Turn Windows features on or off" and tick the box to make Windows reinstall Windows Media Player 12

I don't have it I'm afraid, nor do I remember what it's called. Chances are though that you probably wouldn't be able to use it unless the creator updated it for SP1. Themes designed for the original RTM/Retail version won't work with Windows 7 SP1 (Service Pack 1).

Your pictures, videos and/or music should show in WMP12 - if not, it's easy to re-add them. It is odd that it's not in "All Programs", but it isn't surprising about "Programs and Features". Because it's "baked" (comes as default) into Windows 7, you'll actually find it in "Turn Windows features on or off". There are a lot of things under those settings you can disable (although I'd do research into that first) that frees up space if you don't use them - like games that come with Windows.

Right clicking a file and going to properties then selecting "Open With" when change the default application for those files...

If you have 24GB of RAM - hot damn, what do you have? a workstation? If you have that much RAM, you definitely need to use Windows 7 64-bit. You wouldn't get to use the other 20GB...64-bit allows you to address more RAM to programs that use heavy loads such as CAD, video production software, 3D animation etc

escuse me, does anyone know how to install plugins for x64 wmp? I downloaded a .msi file for wmp and it installs in the x32 wmp, but I like to use the x64.. Any help and explainig would be wonderful.

In a 64-bit version of Windows - Program Files is where 64-bit programs are installed, Program Files (x86) is where 32-bit programs are installed. Just like a program such as Adobe Photoshop CS6 has a 32-bit version and 64-bit version that get installed into those separate folders. Windows 7 64-bit does have a 64-bit version of WMP12. Any 32-bit shows as *32 in task manager. If it doesn't show *32, then it's 64-bit.
